Food Eaten after 8 pm turns directly into fat !

Have you ever had someone tell you,”if you eat 🍕🍔 before bed ,you are going to get fat! or we everyone must have heard about the famous saying that eat breakfast like a king 👑 lunch like a prince 👸 and dinner like a peasant but is that all true ?

This belief was originated when researchers found a correlation between individuals eating late at night 🌃 and having BMI that categorizes them as obese.When the word got out, health nuts began to skip the late night dinner but is eating at night specifically after 8 pm going to make you gain weight? one theory states that your metabolism slows down when you’re asleep.With slower metabolism,fewer calories are burned 🔥 ,thus the calories that you eat right before bed would not be burned off as much as they would be while you are awake.Although This theory seems pretty sound but recent studies have shown that metabolism changes very little ,if at all while you are asleep.While you are asleep your body still functions in many ways.The heart is still beating,Lungs are still working and brain is still very very active.All of these actions take energy,meaning while you are still asleep,you are still burning calories.

Further more ,Then what is then causing weight gain ? Weight gain is solely based on amount of calories being consumed overall vs the amount of calories expended overall.Simply put,If you eat more calories then you burned ,regardless of the time of the day ,you will gain weight.That being said This ‘diet tip’ isn’t true; food eaten at night isn’t metabolized any differently than food eaten earlier in the day. This is really just a way to make you to stop eating junk at night when willpower for the day has been depleted !
